SAVE THE DATE - MAY 15-18, 2014 - CLE IN SEATTLE WA

Peacemaking and Healing: Leadership Practices for Healthy, Inclusive Communities

The Community Learning Exchange is a national network of people, organizations, and communities who share their wisdom and collective leadership approaches in order to better address critical social issues. Through face-to-face gatherings and an online network, the CLE breaks the isolation people working on community change often feel and provides time and space for deep conversations less possible in the busyness of daily schedules.

Please contact us if you would like to learn more about becoming involved with the Community Learning Exchange.

Through the CLE, communities have worked to:

  • secure bonds for needed school improvements;
  • boost African American graduation rates;
  • implement culturally relevant curriculum;
  • launch immigrant rights programs;
  • reclaim education as a tool for healing indigenous communities;
  • and reduce teen pregnancies, among other initiatives.

Communities are building their leadership capacity and moving from vulnerable to powerful. Join us and connect with other community leaders!

Collective Leadership Success Stories

The map above shows where CLE's have been hosted, with the large marker, and the organizations/communities that have attended, with the small dots, color coded by year. Check out our "Everyday Leaders" Album on facebook.
