Event Description

The July 14-17 CLE in Washington, DC, invites participants to exchange knowledge and practices that support family cohesion in an increasingly hostile anti-immigrant environment. This timely CLE offers institutions and organizations serving undocumented populations an opportunity to map out strategies for influencing the immigration reform debate, and educating local policy makers and opinion leaders about enforcement options that are least injurious to families and youth.

It is Friday, and already this has been a great experience meeting and sharing with all of you. Thanks to everyone for their openness and love.

Since the event is ending soon, I encourage everyone to join the new group set up on the site, and also to invite the people and agencies that you visited yesterday to be part of the ongoing conversation, as well as other people from your community back home.

I just set up a new feature in the members tab. When you mouse over the "member" tab on the top navigation it drops down an option that says "member map." If you click on it, a map will appear. On the upper left corner of the map it will say "add your location" click there and enter your address and then you will show up on the map. This way that we can see where everyone is from.
