Brief bio--What are you passionate about?
With a history of 18 years of youth and curriculum development as well as performing arts instruction, in the Bay Area, I joined the organization, Oakland Leaf, in 2006 as a Program Director, developing a high performing ASP programs in Oakland, Ca,. ASCEND Sunset Warriors After-School Program (ASP), Oakland Peace Camp, and the ASCEND Family Resource Center (FRC).

Because of my passion for empowering students and families, innovative staff leadership development techniques and my commitment to weaving the strands of cultural competency, youth development, and community transformation. As the Associate Director, I co-led program expansion efforts of Oakland Leaf to manage 5 additional after-school program sites in Spring 2012 - Spring 2013.

In this position, she adds her lens to determining organizational direction and strategies; she also delves deeper into staff leadership development by coaching and mentoring OST (Out-of-School-Time Program) Site Coordinators and an FRC Program Director.
